What makes the ideal Business Broker?
Our brokers come from diverse backgrounds, but in the main specialize as a broker in the industry in which they are familiar, usually having owned their own business at some point. They have an intermediate level of financial skills, but most of all are passionate about what they do, are very customer focused, can develop rapport quickly, and conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner. They are motivated to achieve results. A reasonable level of computer literacy is also required. All new starters will be mentored by an experienced business broker and will have to focus on developing a strong relationship with business owners in their industry category.
How does a broker get remunerated?
At Wollermann Business Brokers, everyone is rewarded on a retainer/commission basis. We know that the longer you work at this industry, the better you can get at it!
