Peter McDonald is a seasoned CEO, COO, and Business Broker/M&A Advisor, bringing over 20 years of senior corporate leadership and more than 15 years of board experience with both private and public companies. 

 

He served as CEO of a publicly listed Australian company for eight years, overseeing annual sales of around $200 million and managing international operations across Australia, the USA, China, and the Middle East.  Peter’s corporate background spans across manufacturing, commercial and agricultural sectors, as well as the retail home improvement and leisure industries. 

 

Before joining Wollermann Business Brokers, Peter spent nine years as a Business Broker and M&A Advisor with Transworld M&A Advisors and Melbourne Corporate Advisors. During this time, he successfully led numerous mid-market M&A transactions for large private companies, facilitating sales to both local and international buyers across a range of industries. 

 

Peter’s extensive international experience in senior corporate roles and M&A, within both private and public company settings, provides him with deep insight into managing complex stakeholder groups. His expertise enables him to work closely with clients throughout the business sale process, ensuring the preparation, management, and negotiation of successful outcomes for both parties.
